Winter Semester: Level 1 Obedience Class

Canine Good Citizen (CGC) 

House of Dog will now be offering a 5 week Canine Good Citizen (CGC) training certification. 

What is CGC? 

The CGC is essentially AKC's temperament test for pet dogs. There are 10 points to a test. 

        1.      Accepting a friendly stranger
        2.      Sit politely for petting
        3.      Appearance and grooming
        4.      Loose leash walking
        5.      Walking through a crowd
        6.      Sit, down, stay
        7.      Come when called
        8.      Reaction to another dog
        9.      Reaction to distraction
        10.     3 minute out of sight
