It all started with Chloe — Suzanne’s tiny, 2-pound puppy with a big place in her heart.

The facilities looked fine on the surface, but she could never truly see what was happening behind the scenes. There were walls — literal and emotional — between her and the care Chloe received. Updates were rare, often generic, and the spaces felt more like warehouses than places designed for comfort, play, and connection. What she really longed for was trust, openness, and genuine love.

One day, Suzanne began imagining the kind of place she wished existed — not with the intention of starting a business, but simply to dream. She picked up a napkin and started to sketch. That small act sparked something bigger. What began as a doodle quickly became a vision. Through prayer and faith, Suzanne realized this dream wasn’t just for her and Chloe — it was meant to serve other dogs and the families who love them just as deeply.

When Suzanne shared her vision with Amanda — then a successful entrepreneur — something clicked. Amanda’s love for dogs, combined with her business experience and passion for purpose-driven work, made her the perfect partner. Where Suzanne brought the heart and dream, Amanda brought the strength and strategy to make it real. Together, they laid the foundation for something truly special: a place built on faith, love, and the belief that every dog deserves the kind of care we’d want for our own.

Chloe, the inspiration behind it all, now hangs proudly on our “Bark of Fame” wall — a daily reminder that even the smallest among us can spark something extraordinary.
